Based on Roald Dahl&#8217;s book by the same title,\u00a0<em>James and the Giant Peach, Jr.\u00a0<\/em>is a musical filled with whimsy and magic about a boy who sets out to find a real family of his own. The musical featured puppetry, visual effects, singing, and dancing!\u00a0<\/p><p>E<span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit;color: var( --e-global-color-text );font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif\">very year, students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade are invited to audition for our school musical. The cast and crew are directed by music teacher Mrs. Dresel and theater arts teacher Mrs. Cooper.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit;font-weight: inherit;color: var( --e-global-color-text );font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif\">Directors, students, and volunteers dedicate their time and talents to hours of after school practices and preparation to put on a fantastic show.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Congratulations to the cast, crew, and directors for a wonderful performance! We are so proud of your determination, confidence, and accomplishment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Theater &amp; Media Arts are one small part of ACM&#8217;s magnet program. All students in Kindergarten through 6th grade attend Theater &amp; Media Arts class once a week. Students learn about all facets of theater: acting, directing, production, and more; as well as photography, broadcasting, audio and visual technologies. Our Theater &amp; Media Arts magnet program is vertically aligned with magnet programs at Westwood Jr. High and West Jr. High.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
