Pernici<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6cd709a3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6cd709a3\" 400;\">As a youngster growing up in south Louisiana, I always knew I\u2019d grow up to be a teacher.\u00a0 My father was a teacher and my mother worked in the Counseling Office at my school.\u00a0 I went off to college at Louisiana State University to earn a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master\u2019s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.\u00a0 Just after graduation, I started my teaching career here in RISD 22 years ago at Apollo Junior High.\u00a0 While teaching at Apollo, I earned a second Master\u2019s Degree in Educational Administration.\u00a0 Before landing at Dartmouth as Principal, I spent my time as a Literacy Coach, an Instructional Coach, and an Assistant Principal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When I\u2019m not at school, I love spending time with my family.\u00a0 My husband, 2 sons, and I spend lots of time at the baseball field.\u00a0 We also enjoy watching LSU Football, LSU Baseball, and the New Orleans Saints!\u00a0 Lately, we have really enjoyed playing pickleball together as a family.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I absolutely love serving the students, staff, and families of Dartmouth Elementary.\u00a0 I\u2019m so very excited for what the 2025-26 school year will bring!\u00a0 Our theme this year is all things superheroes!\u00a0 Growing is our 400;\">Welcome to Dartmouth Elementary! I\u2019m honored to begin my 17th year in Richardson ISD and my 7th year as an assistant principal. This year marks my 4th year serving the incredible students, staff, and families of Dartmouth, and I\u2019m so grateful for the opportunity to continue growing alongside this amazing community.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each year brings new challenges and new chances to support our students in becoming confident, compassionate, and capable learners.
