Dear Liberty JH Parents and Community,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It has been my honor and privilege to serve as the principal at Liberty Junior High for the past three years. The Liberty family includes amazing students and supportive parents who are served by talented, caring, and devoted educators. Our school is truly a special place for students and staff!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My time at Liberty has been a rewarding and beautiful experience. I have loved working with our students, parents, and staff to create a school that is a safe, engaging, and caring place for all students. One of the things I cherish the most about Liberty is the strong sense of community and support for our school – whatever the need, our parents and community members have always stood ready to roll up their sleeves and work together for our kids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, I shared with teachers and staff that after 29 years in education, I have made the exciting decision to retire at the end of this school year. It was a bittersweet decision, but I wish to commit more time to my family as my one and only child starts her junior year of high school- college visits here we come! I have truly loved and enjoyed my time at Liberty, and I will genuinely miss everyone who makes up our school community and my colleagues in Richardson ISD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later this spring, Liberty stakeholders will receive information from RISD about the next steps related to school leadership, including an opportunity to be involved in identifying the next principal. I have 100% confidence that RISD will identify the right fit for our school and that Liberty JH will be in great hands for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Again, serving the Liberty Junior High community has been an honor and a bright spot in a rewarding career. I am grateful to have had the amazing opportunity to be part of the Liberty family that I have grown to love. I cannot wait to hear about all the amazing things that Liberty will continue to accomplish! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
