I have been the proud principal at MST since 2020. It is my belief that relationships are the foundation of every strong school community. It has been said that \u201cMST is the Place to Be!\u201d\u2014and I couldn’t agree more. The incredible staff, students, parents, and community that make up the MST family are truly one-of-a-kind.<\/p>

My passion lies in creating a learning environment where all students feel seen, loved, and celebrated for the unique gifts they bring to our campus. At MST, we are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, where both students and staff are inspired to grow into the best version of themselves. We believe in pushing boundaries and embracing real-world, authentic learning experiences that challenge us to think critically, work collaboratively, and dream big.<\/p>

I have served in RISD for the past 17 years, beginning my journey in education as a kindergarten and fourth grade teacher, then as an instructional coach, assistant principal, and now as a principal. It has been a joy to bring my leadership experience to MST and to learn alongside the incredible educators in our building as we work together to ensure the success of every student.<\/p>

As a lifelong learner myself, I believe in modeling a love of learning for my students and staff. I earned my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Texas at Dallas, my Master\u2019s in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University, and my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from DBU in 2020.<\/p>

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Matthew and I have two amazing sons who keep us on our toes. Our oldest, Jadon, recently graduated from Berkner High School and is headed to the University of Kansas to study engineering. Our youngest, Conner, is a proud Richardson Eagle, where he enjoys playing football and exploring his interest in culinary arts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
