Vacant Position , Business Community Member<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t The campus\u2010level team shall be known as the <\/span>Mark Twain Elementary<\/span> Site\u2010Based Decision-Making Team.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t The purpose of the <\/span>Mark Twain Elementary<\/span> Site\u2010Based Decision\u2010Making Team is to improve the level of <\/span>student achievement for all students at Mark Twain Elementary School.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t The <\/span>Mark Twain Elementary<\/span> SBDM team must have a core group of 15 members.<\/span><\/p> The CORE group of fifteen members shall be established annually, no later than Labor Day of <\/span>each school year, and will consist of:<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t The Principal shall furnish an up\u2010to\u2010date list of names and addresses of all members on the Site\u2010Based Decision-Making Team to the Superintendent or designee no later than 15 working days after Labor Day. The predominant parent group supervises the election of parent representatives.<\/span><\/p> Parents’ representatives may be nominated by all stakeholders and are elected during the first<\/p> quarter of the academic school year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t The election of teacher representatives of the campus\u2010based professional staff member and <\/span>the district\u2010level professional staff member is supervised by the Principal and members of the Site\u2010Based Decision-Making Team<\/span>. Teachers vote for teachers, campus-based professional staff members vote for <\/span>the campus\u2010based professional staff representative and all professional staff vote for the <\/span>district\u2010level professional staff member. The Site\u2010Based Decision-Making Team shall elect the Site\u2010Based Decision-Making Team representative <\/span>among the Site\u2010Based Decision-Making Team faculty member representatives.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t Teacher representatives are nominated and elected by their peers during the first quarter of the academic school year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p> Campus-based professional staff members are nominated and elected by their peers during the first quarter of the academic school year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p> Professional staff members nominate and elect district-level professional staff member representatives during the first quarter of the academic school year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t Each member has a term of one academic school year. If a member is elected by their peers for an additional school year than one academic school year, he\/she may serve for each academic school year, up to two (2) consecutive terms.
