Dear Northrich Families, Staff, and Community,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

I am Emily Lawrence, proud principal of Northrich Elementary, and it is my honor to continue serving this remarkable school.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>I am proud to share that my entire 22-year career has been devoted to serving the staff, students, and families of Richardson ISD. As a lifelong RISD learner myself, I attended Richardson schools from kindergarten through high school and am a proud graduate of the district.<\/b><\/p>

My journey in education began as a classroom teacher at Richland and Thurgood Marshall Elementary Schools. I later served as a Math Specialist at Aikin Elementary and as an Instructional Coach at Big Springs Elementary. Now entering my third year as principal, I am proud to continue the journey that began during my four years as Northrich\u2019s assistant principal.<\/p>

Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. My husband, Kenneth, and I are the proud parents of two energetic and loving children, Rhett and Reagan, as well as our playful dog, Dutch. As a parent, I understand how important it is to feel confident in your child\u2019s school experience, and I am committed to ensuring that Northrich is a place where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to succeed.<\/p>

As we look ahead to the 2025\u20132026 school year, I am eager to collaborate with our staff, families, and community partners to make it an exceptional one. Together, we will build on the strong foundation we already have in place\u2014focusing on student growth, meaningful relationships, and a culture that celebrates learning and achievement. My door is always open, and I truly value your input and support. Together, I know we will continue to achieve great things and create lasting memories for our students.<\/p>
