Life Stills for Parenting Students
The primary purpose of the Life Skills Program for Student Parents is to help a student graduate high school and have some plan for not only his/her future, but the future of his/her family. The program serves all pregnant and/or parenting students in RISD. A student is in the program until leaving RISD, either by graduating or withdrawing. Students may get up to two elective credits for the class, but are not required to stay in the class their entire high school career. They are encouraged to stay in the program.
The Life Skills Program for Student Parents program is for:
- Pregnant young women
- Parenting young women
- Future fathers
- Current fathers
