PIP is a one-semester, double blocked course, so students have about 3 hours twice a week to intern off campus during the school day (zero or 9th hours can be added, if needed)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Choose a career field that aligns with your interests and goals <\/p>\n\n\n\n
PIP counts as 1 CTE (Career & Technical Education) and is considered a CTE “Completer” course<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gain hands-on industry knowledge before committing time and tuition in a college or tech program<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Differentiate yourself by showcasing real-world experience, initiative, and professional skills on your college applications, resumes, and scholarship submissions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seniors who successfully complete the program are eligible for a letter of recommendation from the Mayor of Richardson<\/p>\n\n\n\n
