Pearce Symphonic Band received straight first division ratings from all judges today at the 2026 Region 20 UIL Concert &amp; Sightreading contest! Congratulations to these awesome students and their fabulous director Mrs. Katie Harrison!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The amazing students pictured below and to the right earned straight 1s from all judges at the UIL Region 20 concert and sightreading contest!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This marks the first time that all seven bands in the Pearce Learning Community earned straight first division ratings from all judges SINCE 2007!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The J.J. Pearce Wind Symphony is conducted by incomparable Brandon Day and rising band star Eric Boatman. They led the students beautifully today with impressive musical craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shown in the bottom picture is the Wind Ensemble (Varsity Band) who played a very difficult program with maturity and dexterity.
