Once you log-in (using parent email associated with Focus), then all fees\/programs (not just technology) will be in their \u2018carts\u2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All students should join the Device Repair and Replacement Program since it offers substantial savings to even routine repairs. Repair parts can get very expensive as compared to the cost of the premium. DRRP is $20 for each student. For students and families who qualify for the National School Lunch and Child Nutrition Program the cost will be $10. For those experiencing financial hardships, please contact your campus administrator for payment options.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DRRP open enrollment will be from<strong>\u00a0August 1, 2026\u00a0<\/strong>to\u00a0<strong>September 14, 2026<\/strong>\u2013 We appreciate your help in getting our students the device-protection they need.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This program covers accidental loss and damage of RISD student devices and stylus. The following coverage is provided:<br \/>\n<strong>Accidental Damage of a Device:<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u25cf DRRP covers device repair or replacement for accidental damage or non-negligent loss of device (see proof and terms below).<br \/>\n\u25cf Any non-accidental damage or negligent loss of the device will be subject to the cost of the repair or full replacement cost of the device. Final determination will be made based on police reports, repair technician evaluations and campus administrators.<br \/>\n\u25cf If issued a stylus for an iPad, this program covers one free replacement of any lost or damaged stylus.<br \/>\n<strong>Stolen or total-loss of Device:<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u25cf DRRP covers a one-time replacement of the device, charger and case\/keyboard.<br \/>\n\u25cf The device must be reported stolen or lost within 5 business days.<br \/>\n\u25cf All missing devices must be reported to law enforcement and a police report # submitted where applicable. This report must reflect no negligence.<br \/>\n\u25cb Negligence can be defined as, but not limited to, any purposeful acts of destruction; leaving device unattended; not locking up device; forgetting where the device is (lost); or leaving device in vehicle overnight. All devices will be disabled by the district\u2019s management system if not returned to the district.<br \/>\n\u25cf Any student who has a device(s) covered by this program that was lost or stolen more than once will be subject to the full replacement cost of the second device.
