This week, our 8th graders took an important step toward high school with a visit to JJ Pearce High School.
Students spent the morning touring the building, getting a firsthand look at the classrooms, common areas, and everything else that makes up the high school environment.
A major goal of this visit was to introduce them to the full scope of high school life and all the amazing career pathway options Pearce offers. This information is crucial as they start thinking about their interests and future goals.
This visit serves as the perfect foundation before their next big step: meeting with the high school counselors in the spring to officially choose their classes for the upcoming school year.
It was a productive and informative day, helping our Vikings get ready to become Mustangs!
