Congratulations to our talented members of the Viking band who auditioned for the TMEA Region 20 All-Region Band this past weekend! Our students represented RNJH with dedication, skill, and incredible musicianship.
They auditioned alongside more than 900 middle school and junior high band students from across the region-a highly competitive and challenging event. We are proud to share that 15 of our students earned a chair in an All-Region Band on Saturday!
And a special shout out to these amazing students:
- Hayes Seals (7th grade) and William Bailey (8th grade), who were selected as 1st Chair in the entire region!
- Everett Wolf, who was the highest placing 7th Grade clarinet in the region!
- Elder Escobar, who is in our Symphonic Band, learning the music primarily on his own!
Their hard work, countless hours of practice, and commitment to excellence truly paid off. Congratulations to these outstanding musicians-we are so proud of you!
