Evening at the Meyerson

Meyerson Performance

The North Junior High Honors Band recently shared the stage with the J.J. Pearce High School band for a spectacular performance at the world-renowned Meyerson Symphony Center. This annual event is a standout for our musicians, offering them the rare opportunity to perform in one of the most prestigious concert halls in the country.

This year’s showcase featured a special homecoming for the North community. RNJH alumna and current Pearce Junior Ichika Miller took the spotlight to perform a flute concerto with the J.J. Pearce Wind Ensemble. It was a proud moment for our program to see a former student return to the stage with such incredible skill and artistry.

The evening was also a significant milestone for our band conductor, Mr. Reyna. This performance marked his very first time conducting at the Meyerson with the North Junior High Band. His dedication and the students’ hard work resulted in a memorable debut in this iconic symphony center.

Thank you to everyone who attended this celebration of our musicians. We are immensely proud of our Honors Band, Ichika, and Mr. Reyna for representing North so well.
