The 2025-2026 Richardson North JH Honors Band has been recognized by The Foundation for Music Education as a “Commended Winner” through the Mark of Excellence competition!
The Mark of Excellence project seeks to recognize and award outstanding achievement in performance by high school and middle school bands, choirs, and orchestras. The recordings from the Honors Band performance at the Pearce Bands “Night at the Meyerson” Concert in April were submitted and selected by a panel of judges! There were over 525 entries across all classification.
The last time RNJH was recognized by The Foundation for Music Education was in 2011!
