North Junior High made a fantastic showing at the first annual Battle of the Books competition! Our team went head-to-head with seven other schools across the district, putting their literary knowledge and quick wits to the test. Lucia P., Christopher T., and Cooper S. represented North with pride, showing off the results of all the hard work and preparation they put into this inaugural event.
While we are so proud of the students who competed on the big day, this was truly a team effort from the start. We want to give a huge shout-out to Kenyari W., who was a vital part of the preparation stage. Although she wasn’t able to make it to the competition, we appreciate her dedication and hard work behind the scenes.
The competition was fierce, and our team fought hard. Their poster design won first place against every other team in the district! It was an incredible day celebrating reading and teamwork; and it was inspiring to see our students’ hard work pay off with such a strong showing!
