After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, I started my career as a teacher and coach at Liberty Junior High in 1991.&nbsp; After 12 years in the classroom, I spent the next several years as an assistant<br>principal in the Lake Highlands Learning Community.&nbsp; In 2013, I was&nbsp;offered the opportunity to lead Liberty Junior High as principal.&nbsp; After our students and staff achieved great success at Liberty Junior High, I joined the Teaching and Learning Department as Math Director.&nbsp; I have spent my entire career, 30 years, in this wonderful school district and look forward to many more years serving students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family and garden.&nbsp; I am the proud father of two wonderful daughters, Malane and Makenna.&nbsp; Malane will be starting seventh grade next year and Makenna will begin fifth<br>grade.&nbsp; My beautiful wife Misty spent 25 years in education and most recently was a counselor at North.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My goal is to be a servant leader and I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships with students,&nbsp; staff, families and the entire Pearce Learning Community.&nbsp; Together, we will work to make sure that each&nbsp; student at North has the opportunity to connect, learn, grow and succeed!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div Cheer Coach, Instructional Coach, and AP Testing Coordinator.\u00a0 As an Instrucitonal Coach I supported Science, RLA, all new hires and planned proofessional developments.\u00a0 I then moved to be an Assistant Principal at Brentfield Elementary.\u00a0 My passion in education is engaging instruction and how to help students grow and succeed in the classroom and in life.\u00a0 My husband, Alex, and I live in the Pearce learning community with our daughter Helen.\u00a0 We love this community and I am excited to continue to serve --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif\">Mr. Dickerson has served in education for 18 years as teacher, coach, and campus administrator.<\/span><\/p><p><span Dickerson grew up in the Houston area, Brazoria County, graduating from Angleton High School. He received his graduate and undergraduate degrees from Stephen F.
