I am excited to join this wonderful school community and begin building strong relationships with students, families, and staff. Together, I know we will achieve great things.<\/p>\n<p>With extensive experience in education\u2014from classroom teacher to principal\u2014I\u2019ve had the privilege of working with students from kindergarten through 8th grade. For the past 5 years, I\u2019ve served as the proud principal of Wallace Elementary. Before joining RISD, I served as an assistant principal, associate principal, and principal in Dallas ISD. I look forward to bringing these leadership experiences to Skyview as we collectively prioritize academic excellence, student growth, and meaningful community engagement.<\/p>\n<p>My husband and I have called Dallas home for 23 years. We have two amazing children\u2014our son, Tyler, who is studying engineering at Prairie View A&amp;M University, and our daughter, Taylor, who will enter Lake Highlands High School as a proud freshman Wildcat.<\/p>\n<p>I believe that student success is built through strong partnerships between school and family. I have had the privilege to serve for the<br \/>Richardson Independent School District for the past 7 years.<br \/><br \/>I hold a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from The University of Texas at Tyler.<br \/>I have a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a Principal Certification from<br \/>Texas A&amp;M University &#8211; Commerce and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary<br \/>Studies from Sam Houston State University.<br \/><br \/>Every day I have the privilege to serve, learn, and grow alongside the best educators and team<br \/>members as an instructional leader at Skyview Elementary!
