Dear Skyview Staff, Families, and Community,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am humbled and honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Skyview Elementary! I am excited to join this wonderful school community and begin building strong relationships with students, families, and staff. Together, I know we will achieve great things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With extensive experience in education\u2014from classroom teacher to principal\u2014I\u2019ve had the privilege of working with students from kindergarten through 8th grade. For the past 5 years, I\u2019ve served as the proud principal of Wallace Elementary. Before joining RISD, I served as an assistant principal, associate principal, and principal in Dallas ISD. I look forward to bringing these leadership experiences to Skyview as we collectively prioritize academic excellence, student growth, and meaningful community engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My husband and I have called Dallas home for 23 years. We have two amazing children\u2014our son, Tyler, who is studying engineering at Prairie View A&M University, and our daughter, Taylor, who will enter Lake Highlands High School as a proud freshman Wildcat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I believe that student success is built through strong partnerships between school and family. My door is always open, and I\u2019m committed to listening, learning, and leading with care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I can\u2019t wait to meet each of you. The 2025\u20132026 school year will be one to remember!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
