Spring Creek is a small neighborhood school located in North Dallas that opened in 1967 comprised of 407 students including three district central programs, Structured Developmental Classrooms (SDC) and the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD), and Pre-Kindergarten.   There are three sections of Kindergarten and two sections of 1st grade through 6th grade.        
 
Spring Creek is celebrating great success on the 2018-2019 STAAR Assessments, with an overall rating of Met Standard and an overall score of 96, which is an “A”.  Additionally, Spring Creek earned 4 Distinction Designations in the areas of Academic Achievement in Mathematics, Academic Achievement  in Science, Top 25% Closing Performance Gaps and Postsecondary Readiness.
 
Spring Creek is a safe and nurturing environment.  The school emphasis is for each child to set individual learning goals to help them achieve their personal best.  Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) are utilized to encourage excellent behavior for all.  SCE students SOAR!  (Say it with kindness, Own their decisions, Act responsibly, and Respect everyone and everything).   This year the school theme is “Camp Spring Creek, Let The Adventures Begin!”
 
The school mascot is an eagle, and the school colors are green & yellow.  The staff is very caring, supportive and professional.  We are proud of our campus and all the programs available to our students.
