We just wrapped up a school wide career exploration activity that was engaging and fun for everyone! It was the creation of our counselor, Jessica Watkins. Please enjoy reading her description below:
Following each grade level specific career exploration counseling lesson, we entered March with our first annual Career March Madness.
We started with 32 careers representing a variety of career clusters, paired them off, and each class voted on which career they liked the best. During each round, students had the opportunity to watch videos, hear facts, and learn more about the careers.
The final four careers were Athlete, Actor, Paleontologist, and YouTuber. On March 28, PRO ATHLETE was named the TOP CAREER of 2024 at SCE.
What a fun way to bring career awareness into the Spring Semester following our fun career fair in the fall!
