Welcome to the Spring Creek Library!

The heart of SCE!

Spring Creek Elementary Eagle

Hello and welcome to our library!

SCE Library is much more than a place to find a great book. It is a classroom where lessons are taught collaboratively with teachers, a place to learn about STEM with our MakerSpace toys and challenges, a place to learn using new technology applications, and a place to gain the crucial information literacy skills that are so important in today’s world.

About Me

This is my 5th year as the Library and Information Technology Educator (LITE)  here at SCE. This is my 17th year teaching – all of it in RISD. There are so many things I love about my job, but the best thing is getting to teach all of our 400+ Eagles! It has been so great to get to know the kids and watch them grow from year to year. I enjoy teaching lessons about research, creating projects, collaborating with teachers, and working with our amazing library volunteers.

In addition to school, I have a very full life as well. My husband Brad and I have four grown children and three super cute grandsons. We love to travel to see our kids who are spread out from Toronto to Ohio to California. In my free time, I love to ride my bike on the amazing bike trails that Dallas has to offer. I love to read, of course, and bake too.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, suggestions, or comments about our SCE Library.
