Lake Highlands High School Learning Community: Poppy (Penelope) Huffman from Wallace Elementary was the highest scoring champion and will move on to represent RISD at the Dallas County Spelling Bee. She will be joined by J.J. Pearce High School Learning Community: Grady Dowling from Prairie Creek Elementary.
