Our students don\u2019t just learn the language, they live it. From day one, we offer a full-immersion experience, building Spanish Literacy <em>first<\/em> for all students, developing both the biliteracy, bilingual, and bicultural skills that last a lifetime!\u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Two-Way Dual Language?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike one-way dual language programs, the students in our two-way dual language immersion program are composed of equal numbers of native speakers of Spanish<br>and native speakers of English. Instruction is provided in English and Spanish, and language learning is integrated with content instruction as students progress through<br>elementary years. In order to offer a full immersion experience, English-speaking students receive literacy instruction in Spanish even in the early elementary grades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Goal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our goal is for both our native Englishspeaking and native Spanish-speaking student groups to become bi-literate, bilingual, and bicultural scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/schools.risd.org\/StultsRoadES\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/2026\/01\/Stults-Overview-Accessible.pdf\">Learn more about the Dual Language Choice Program and Eligibility<\/a>.
