Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders had a fantastic opportunity to meet Nell Cross Beckerman<\/strong>, author of Caves<\/em>, Volcanoes<\/em>, and When the Sky Glows<\/em>! \ud83e\udd29\u2728 Mrs. Beckerman shared her adventurous journey of writing and publishing her book on caves, along with stories from her trips to some of the most incredible caves around the world. \ud83c\udf0d\ud83e\udd87<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students even got to touch a real piece of lava rock<\/strong> that she brought\u2014how cool is that?! \ud83d\udd25\ud83d\udd90\ufe0f 10 lucky students enjoyed lunch with Mrs. Beckerman, and she generously signed books, donated a copy of her book, and a lava rock to our school! \ud83d\udcd6\ud83d\udd8b\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n
