Author Visit: Chris Barton at Wallace! \ud83d\udcda\u2728"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Today, our <strong>Kinder, 1st, and 2nd graders<\/strong>&nbsp;had an <strong>exciting<\/strong>&nbsp;visit from author <strong>Chris Barton!<\/strong>&nbsp;\ud83c\udf89 He shared his book <strong>&#8220;Fire Truck vs. Dragon&#8221;<\/strong>, and our students were <strong>fully engaged<\/strong>&nbsp;in the fun! \ud83d\ude92\ud83d\udd25\ud83d\ude82<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every time Chris said <strong>&#8220;dragon&#8221;<\/strong>, the students shouted <strong>&#8220;FIRE!&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;\ud83d\udd25 and when he said <strong>&#8220;fire engine&#8221;<\/strong>, they responded with <strong>&#8220;WATER!&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;\ud83d\udca6 The room was filled with <strong>laughter, energy, and the joy of storytelling!<\/strong>&nbsp;\ud83d\udcd6\u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A huge <strong>thank you<\/strong>&nbsp;to Chris Barton for bringing stories to life and making reading an <strong>interactive
