“Leadership is not about a title or position—it’s about the choices you make and the impact you have on others every single day.”
We are thrilled to invite 5th and 6th-grade students from MST, ACM, and HPPM to a day of connection and growth hosted by Westwood Junior High: The Math, Science, Leadership Magnet.
This student-led event features workshops on themes like Teamwork, Communication, Prioritization, and Accountability. Students will engage in active dialogue with peers from our three magnet elementary schools, participate in developing durable skills, goal-setting, reflection, and journaling exercises, and build new friendships.
Attendees will join mixed groups to participate in four student-led workshops:
- Teamwork: Collaborating toward shared goals
- Communication: Sharing ideas with confidence
- Accountability: Taking responsibility for actions
- Prioritization: Focusing on what matters most
Special Features:
- Lunch Choice Sessions: Students can self-select lunch topics based on their personal interests.
- Closing Celebration: We’ll wrap up with a group chant and reflection on future goals.
