The 2025-2026 Texas Education Agency (TEA) accountability results officially released today, confirming what we\u2019ve been working toward \u2014 RISD\u2019s continued growth and student progress have moved the district to a B rating!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This accomplishment is a direct reflection of our North Star Goal: Every student, teacher and leader will meet or exceed their academic growth goals. \u201cThe progress reflected in this year\u2019s results is a reflection of the collective commitment of our teachers, leaders, staff, students and families to keeping student growth at the center of everything we do,\u201d said Superintendent Tabitha Branum. \u201cTogether, we are making meaningful progress and ensuring more students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RISD has improved from a C rating (79) in 2025 to an official B district rating in 2026, with an overall score of 83. The achievement reflects continued progress across multiple grade levels and subject areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
