  • Welcome to the MST Library!

    MST Library Hours: 8:15 - 3:30 Monday - Friday

    Librarian: Lindsay Cross

Our library has around 14,000 books. We have the following collections: Everybody, Fiction, Non-fiction, Graphic Novels, Biographies, and Readers. In addition to print books, we also have access to many E-books through OverDrive, Follett Shelf, and TumbleBooks. More information about these can be found on the home page under "Online Resources." We also have several online databases on our home page that the students can access from school or from home. These are excellent places to research a variety of topics, or even access online books.

    Circulation Policy:

Students are allowed free choice of materials - at, above, or below reading level; fiction or nonfiction - up to the grade level limit, less one item.  Teacher directed choice of materials can be the remaining checkout.  The grade level limits are:

    Kindergarten-2nd Grade = 2 books

    3rd Grade = 3 books

    4th Grade = 4 books

    5th Grade = 5 books

    6th Grade = 6 books

The overdue materials policy is as follows:

    1.  Students can check out regardless of overdue books, not exceeding the set grade level limit.

    2.  No books are checked out to students with "long overdue" books or charges for lost or damaged books.

We want students to want to read, to be successful in defining their own likes and dislikes in reading, and practice good citizenship with library materials.
