Storybook Character Day
  • Richardson Reads Day and Storybook Character Day are just around the corner! 

    Friday, October 19th!

    Here is What you need to know:

    • Students can come dressed in a book character costume that day. Nothing too scary. 
    • They must have the book with them that day. 
    • The book can be from home or checked out from the library.
    • If the student doesn't have a book they should come dressed as a book character. 

    Parents You can Volunteer to read to their class! 

    On this same day, you can come and read to their class. To participate you need to sign up as a volunteer for the school and select a time to read.

    • Feel free to come dressed as a book character
    • You must sign up through the link above to come and select a class or time on that day. 
    • The library will have books you can read but you are welcome to bring appropriate materials of your own if you have a favorite children's book. 
    • You will start off in the library before you go to the classroom so that you can sign in and get what you need.
