Meet Our 2021-2022 School Counselors!
I am Regina McCurdy, Stults Rd. Elementary School Counselor. I am a graduate of Lamar University and received a Master of Education in School Counseling in 2015. I have 21 years of experience in education.
I am blessed to be at Stults Rd. Elementary, and I enjoy serving our students, their parents, and our wonderful staff. My counseling duties consist of classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling, consultation with parents and teachers, referrals for community services, and crisis intervention.
If I can assist you in any way, please feel free to contact me firstname.lastname@example.org
My name is Elizabeth Contreras, Part-Time Counselor for Stults Road Elementary & Aikin Elementary. I was born and raised in Oak Cliff, where I graduated from Dallas ISD schools, including Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Magnet Center. I received my Bachelor’s in Child Bilingual Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and became the first in my family to receive a Master’s degree. Prior to attending Amberton University for School Counseling, I was a bilingual teacher in various grade levels---5th grade Math & Science, 2nd grade self-contained and 4th grade Math & Science. I became a School Counselor in the Spring of 2021. Although I am split between Stults Rd. & Aikin Elementary, I love the diversity of both campuses and I’m excited to get to know more about the students, staff and communities at both schools.
I’m really proud to be a Mexican American who loves being able to speak in two languages because that means I can be able to communicate & connect with more people. I am here to serve. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way. The best way to contact me is via email.
