Dallas City Hall Recognition

Dallas City Hall Recognition

At the Dallas City Council Meeting in January, a special proclamation was read to spotlight the inspiring work of Jennifer Pond, Nick Rustin, and the talented students at Lake Highlands Middle School. Their partnership with Dallas Animal Services brought art, compassion, and advocacy together in a way that truly deserves recognition.

This collaboration not only celebrated the artistic voices of our students but also highlighted how art can amplify community connections and make a difference for those without a voice—our animal friends.

A big thank you to all the students involved!
