an Assistant Principal at Apollo Junior High.\u00a0 Before making the transition to administrator, he worked for 6 years as an English teacher at Richardson High School.\u00a0 His educational journey began as a student teacher at the former Lake Highlands Freshman Center.\u00a0 Mr. Rustin earned his Bachelor\u2019s degree in Literary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas and earned his She received her Bachelor\u2019s degree in Secondary\nEducation from Oklahoma State University with a focus in Social Studies and her\ngraduate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas.\nShe has taught in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. Prior to her current role, she served as the director of Reading Language Arts for grades 3-12, district secondary specialist, a professional learning developer, instructional coach, and high school teacher. Dr. Cox obtained her undergraduate degree in Secondary Education English and returned upon graduation to North Dallas, where she grew up. She also earned a Master of Curriculum and Instruction degree from Concordia University and a Doctor of Education degree from Northeastern University.
