Director Kirstyn Hart

Mrs. Hart is the Director of Little Rams Little Wildcats Child Learning Academy at Springridge. This is a unique RISD campus with half of the building serving RISD Pre-K and ECSE students and the other half serving as an RISD staff childcare center. This setup allows the campus to support both RISD employees and the broader community.

Mrs. Hart has 29 years of experience in the field of education and has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal at Arapaho Classical Magnet, assistant principal at Dobie, principal at Dobie, and Director of Little Rams Little Wildcats Child Learning Academy at Springridge.

Mrs. Hart grew up in New Mexico, but moved to Abilene, Texas to attend McMurry University where she earned a bachelor’s degree with a major in elementary education. While working as a teacher in RISD, she earned her master’s degree in education administration from Texas A&M Commerce.

Mrs. Hart is passionate about early childhood education and helping children build a strong foundation in academic skills and emotional intelligence. She has a strong belief that all students deserve access to high quality early childhood education.

Mrs. Hart and her husband have two children. Their oldest child is a graduate of Richardson High School and their youngest child is currently attending Richardson High School. They love to cheer for the RHS Eagles, especially the RHS Golden Eagle Band and the RHS Choir! Away from Richardson, they love to spend time in the mountains and visit family out of state.
