Our Visit with Illustrator AG Ford

Illustrator AG Ford presents to audience of ACM students

AG FORD is a New York Times Bestselling Children’s book illustrator and a recipient of two NAACP Image Awards. He grew up in Dallas, Texas then attended The Columbus College of Art and Design. He has illustrated picture books for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Sharon Robinson, Ilyasah Shabazz, Martin Luther King III, Nick Cannon, Jonah Winter, The Archbishop Desmond Tutu and many others.

Mr. Ford has over 30 published books for children including picture books and chapter books such as the Magic Tree House Series. He lives in Frisco, Texas with his lovely wife Brandy and their two sons Maddox & Carter.

Mr. Ford presented at three assemblies during the school day. He shared about his illustrating process and answered student questions. Students and teachers loved his live drawings! Thank you for the visit, Mr. Ford!
