Total Solar Eclipse Viewing at ACM

Total Solar Eclipse

Students, teachers, and staff at ACM had a blast viewing the total solar eclipse at school on Monday, April 8, 2024. Thanks to the the Perot Museum for providing ISO approved glasses so that all students could view the eclipse safely!

Students were prepared weeks in advance for the eclipse by the Frontiers of Flight Museum who came to visit with a mobile planetarium! The museum’s presentation taught students about the phases of the eclipse from first contact to totality.

Thank you to ACM’s PTA who generously provided eclipse day snacks and arranged the planetarium visit. ACM students, teachers, and staff will remember this day for years to come!
