Principal Emily Forte

Emily Forte proudly serves as the principal of Lake Highlands Elementary, where she is entering her 9th year leading the campus and her 20th year in education—all of which have been in Richardson ISD. Her career has included roles as a classroom teacher, instructional specialist, and assistant principal before becoming principal.

She is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, earning her bachelor’s degree in 2007 and a master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction. She later earned a second master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M-Commerce, equipping her with the tools to lead with vision and purpose.

Deeply committed to the Lake Highlands community, she is passionate about creating a school environment where decisions are made in the best interests of all students, where both staff and students are encouraged to grow, and where joy and connection are part of daily life.

Outside of school, she lives in East Dallas with her wife and two dogs. She enjoys running at White Rock Lake, traveling, and reading.

Mrs. Forte is looking forward to another successful year at LHE and continuing the important work of building a strong, inclusive, and thriving school community.

Ana Baptista Segovia

Assistant Principal Ana Baptista Segovia

Ana Baptista-Segovia proudly serves as Assistant Principal at Lake Highlands Elementary. She brings experience in instructional leadership, teacher coaching, student support, and bilingual education. Ms. Baptista-Segovia is passionate about creating learning environments where all students feel valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.

Throughout her career, she has been committed to fostering strong relationships, supporting teacher growth, and ensuring equitable opportunities for every learner. As a bilingual educator and leader, Ms. Baptista values the rich diversity of the school community and believes that meaningful partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. She is dedicated to helping every child develop academically, socially, and emotionally while creating a culture of belonging for all.

Ms. Baptista is excited to serve the Lake Highlands Elementary community and looks forward to partnering with students, staff, and families to help every learner grow, thrive, and achieve their fullest potential.

Bobbie Eccher

Assistant Principal Bobbie Eccher

Bobbie Eccher is the Assistant Principal at Lake Highlands Elementary and is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and student success. With 27 years in education, including 24 years in Richardson ISD, she has served as a classroom teacher, Math Coach, and campus administrator. Mrs. Eccher believes that strong relationships are the foundation of a thriving school community and is committed to empowering teachers, supporting student achievement, and partnering with families to ensure every child reaches their full potential. Originally from the New Orleans area, she now lives in Lewisville with her husband, Scott, and their two dogs, Brando and Stella. She is honored to serve the Lake Highlands Elementary community and looks forward to working together to inspire excellence and create meaningful opportunities for every student.
