Dear Moss Haven Community,
I am writing this message with mixed emotions – sadness and excitement. After much thought and consideration, I have accepted a new position in RISD that will take me on a different path in my educational journey. I will be the new principal at Richardson West Junior High School for the 24-25 school year.
My time at Moss Haven has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling – all because of our kids. Serving as your principal has been a privilege and an honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such a supportive community and amazing school. Together, we have accomplished so much, and I am proud of the progress we have made in advancing our shared vision for academic excellence and student success. For that, I am thankful.
With your continued support and involvement, I am confident that Moss Haven will continue to thrive under new leadership. At the bottom of this message is information from RISD about next steps for Moss Haven. I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition during this time of change. Over the coming weeks, I will work closely with the district, school administration, and staff to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made to support a seamless handover process.
I am excited about all of the great things that have happened and will continue to happen at MHE. Please know that I will always cherish the memories and relationships made during my time here, and I look forward to staying connected with the MHE community in the future.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support and trust in me as your school leader. It has been an honor to serve as your principal.
Always 4 Ranches – 1 Family,
Principal Vega
