Did you know that Moss Haven is an RISD pilot campus for CTE learning? Our cohort of teachers in different levels and content areas has been trained in the Defined Learning program. They regularly use and adapt these career connected lessons to give our MHE students hands on exposure to a variety of “future-ready” skills.
5th & 6th graders completed the Defined Learning lessons of “Youth Choreographers” in PE, spending a week planning, creating, performing, and submitting a video of their self-choreographed routines. 4th grade has been implementing Defined Learning lessons regularly in math and science! Check out their roller coaster project! 3rd grade learned the power of the vote as they ran an election and chose a class president! These lessons are making a huge impact on student learning and we are excited to see the careers these students have in their futures!
