Welcome to Moss Haven!

I am humbled and honored to serve all of our Mustangs as principal of MHE, and am excited to work with all of you as we ensure a positive, engaging environment where students find success both academically and socially.

The Lake Highlands Learning Community is near and dear to my heart. I attended Lake Highlands Junior High and Lake Highlands High School, then graduated from Texas A&M and earned my Master’s Degree at Lamar University. My oldest daughters, Macy and Layne, are graduates of Lake Highlands High School, and my youngest, Anna Reese, is beginning her senior year at LHHS this fall!

This year begins my 25 year as an educator in Richardson ISD. During that time, I’ve taught general education and special education at multiple grade levels and served as a campus reading specialist and assistant principal. 

I’m proud to be a member of Team MHE, made up of our students, educators, and parents. Here at Moss Haven, we all work together for the success of our students. In leading MHE, I bring with me my educational values,, which include aspiring to excellence and celebrating growth, building strong relationships through clear communication, and ensuring a safe learning environment for all of our students and staff, where they are confident in taking risks to help them reach their goals.
