Welcome to Moss Haven!

I am humbled and honored to serve our Mustangs as principal of MHE, and I’m excited to work alongside all of you to create a positive, engaging environment where students can succeed both academically and socially.

The Lake Highlands Learning Community is especially close to my heart. I attended Lake Highlands Junior High and Lake Highlands High School before graduating from Texas A&M University and earning my master’s degree from Lamar University. My three daughters are also proud graduates of Lake Highlands High School.

I have served as an educator in Richardson ISD for more than 25 years. During that time, I’ve taught both general education and special education at multiple grade levels and served as a campus reading specialist and assistant principal.

I’m proud to be part of Team MHE—our students, educators, and parents—working together for the success of every child. In leading Moss Haven, I bring with me my core educational values: aspiring to excellence while celebrating growth, building strong relationships through clear communication, and ensuring a safe learning environment where all students and staff feel confident taking risks that help them reach their goals.
