On Monday, May 11th, we gathered with the families of our honored scholars to celebrate the incredible achievements of our students. This ceremony was a special time to recognize the hard work, growth, and positive spirit these individuals brought to our campus throughout the year.
Awards were presented in four distinct categories:
- Academic Excellence Award: This award honored the highest achievement in a subject area during the academic year.
- Rising Star Award: This award honored scholars who showed the greatest progress in a subject area during the academic year.
- Canis Majoris Award: This award honored the students who make us glad to come to work every day—the ones who make us smile and make the day better through their presence and attitude.
- President’s Education Award: This award recognized academic success in the classroom based upon an overall G.P.A. of 90 or above through the fall semester of the 8th grade and high achievement in Math and/or Reading on nationally normed tests such as MAP.
It was a privilege to see so many families in attendance to share in the pride as their students received their well-deserved recognition. We are incredibly proud of our outstanding Vikings and all they have accomplished this year!
