Richardson Reads Day is Friday, November 21. Every student will need a book for that day,. This day is where all students in RISD celebrate the love of reading by reading a book of their choice during each class period. All staff members are encouraged to join the students in reading as well! Happy Reading! 📚

RISD Seeks Input on Calendar Proposals for 26-27 and 27-28 Academic School Years
The Board will adopt the calendars at an upcoming meeting, after reviewing the community’s feedback.

During the November 4, 2025 election, voters chose to approve all three Propositions on the district’s $1.4 billion bond package.
Stock the Shelves Donation Drive
In partnership with Network of Communities Ministries, RISD is hosting a Stock the Shelves donation drive to support RISD families in need.
