Mrs. Shacklett and her family
Mrs. Shacklett and her family
I grew up in RISD and attended Terrace Elementary, Richardson Junior High, and Berkner High School. I have two amazing kids, a loving husband, and a feisty chihuahua at home.  I have been a LITE or librarian in RISD for over 15 years and have called Canyon Creek home since 2015. In 2003 completed my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University), and in 2007 I earned my Master of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University. Throughout my career, I have taught all grade levels from PreK-12th grade, and with every grade, I love instilling a life-long love of reading, problem solving, and sharing knowledge with others.
