On a proud evening for our school community, select students from Jess Harben were invited to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the RISD School Board meeting. These students weren’t just chosen at random—they were Heart of Harben Winners, recognized for their consistent acts of kindness and support toward others throughout the school year.
Being a Heart of Harben recipient means more than good behavior—it means living with heart, stepping up for classmates, and spreading compassion in everything they do. Our students stood tall in front of district leaders, representing the very best of Jess Harben. Their families, teachers, and peers beamed with pride as they demonstrated what it means to lead with love.
