Welcome to the Jess Harben Library!

The Jess Harben Library is a center for learning and finding the right books for your needs and wants. It is a place to learn how to get information and figure out if it is the best information for you. The JHE library is the place to find awesome books to read at home or at school.
The library mission is to teach information literacy in collaboration with classroom teachers within the context of the content curriculum, inspire and develop a love of reading and provide diverse materials and services to enable students to become lifelong learners and effective users of information. We aim to grow kind, empathetic, and respectful students who are confident risk takers while being accepting of others. Our students will collaborate, think critically, and advocate for themselves and others.

Countdown To your Jess Harben Spring Book Fair!
Jess Harben will be trying out a new book fair this semester. We are giving Literati a chance and seeing if we are able to get better product with more options for our students. The book fair will have less toys and activity sets and focus more on reading. Although there will be a few writing options as well, like journals, pens, pencils, and erasers. We hope this new book fair will make a better impact on our students reading!
