This year, our Hawks Leadership students had the incredible opportunity to serve at Feed My Starving Children, an organization dedicated to preparing meals for children around the world who don’t have enough to eat. Our students worked side by side, measuring, scooping, sealing, and packing food with care and love. Together, they were part of a team that packaged thousands of meals—meals that will soon reach children in countries where food is scarce.
The experience was more than just filling boxes. It was about opening eyes and hearts. Our students saw firsthand how even small acts—like adding a scoop of rice or sealing a bag—make a big difference in the lives of others. They learned that leadership isn’t only about guiding people; it’s about serving people, giving back, and understanding the struggles others face.
This service connects directly to our Hawks Leadership mission. We believe leadership is about building character, practicing compassion, and taking action to improve our community and the world. Packing meals reminded our students that they are capable of creating real change. It helped them grow as humans—more empathetic, more responsible, and more aware of the power they hold to help others.
Through this work, our Hawks aren’t just learning leadership skills for school. They’re building the foundation to be kind, compassionate leaders who will continue to make a difference wherever life takes them.
