Principal Stacey Marx
I grew up in Richardson ISD, graduating from Berkner in 2001. I earned my BS of Education from Baylor University in 2005, and my Masters of Educational Administration from Texas Woman’s University in 2010.
This is my second year at Merriman Park Elementary. Previously, I was a principal for 5 years at Dartmouth, and served as an Assistant Principal in 3 districts: Richardson ISD, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Lewisville ISD. I started my teaching career as a 4th grade classroom teacher. I love living and working in the Lake Highlands area and being a part of this community!
The MPE staff is dedicated to growing ALL students, and I will continue to support them to help all student become successful!
Assistant Principal Trey Ivey
My undergraduate degree is from Southwestern University where I went wanting to be a campus administrator. Afterwards, I followed my passion for learning and sports and earned a MSEd from Baylor University and a PhD from Florida State in sports management.
This is my second year at Merriman Park Elementary, and I am looking forward to congratulating students and staff on their victories and successes all year long!
