Northlake Elementary is an AVID showcase elementary school in RISD. Northlake opened its doors to RISD administrators and teachers to come and see what student agency looks like at the elementary level and how their teachers are insisting on rigor through WICOR strategies.
Northlake students then showed individual determination and advocated for themselves as they shared how AVID is impacting them. Let’s celebrate the students and educators for their hard work in taking on this leadership opportunity. #RISDBelieves
