My name is Jenni Smith, and I am beginning my first year as principal at Northwood Hills Elementary. I just completed my 18th year of educational experience, all in RISD. Before becoming the principal at NHE, I served as a classroom teacher, instructional specialist, academic facilitator, and assistant principal. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Baylor University and my Masters in School Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. I am passionate about student learning and forming partnerships with the community to provide opportunities beyond the classroom for our students. I look forward to working with the staff and community groups to begin building strong and lasting relationships.
