Skyhawk Community,

It has been an honor to serve the Skyview community for the past six years. I have learned and grown so much here as a leader and as an individual.  It is bittersweet to announce that I have accepted a different position for the 2024-2025 school year.

As many of you have been aware, I lost my mother this fall. It has taken an incredible toll on my family, especially my father, and I want to be able to focus more on his health and well-being.  I also would like to complete the final stage of my doctoral degree.  I am in my final dissertation phase of the program.  I feel confident that Skyview will continue to be an empowering place for scholars to feel safe to grow and learn. As my time at Skyview draws to an end, I want you to know how honored I feel to have worked with each of you over the years. My life has been forever touched by the amazing support of our teachers, students, parents, and community.

Skyview will always have a special place in my heart. I know our school family will continue striving for excellence and supporting one another along the way. I look forward to hearing about the continued success of Skyview and how our Skyhawks soar!

Sincerely,

Katrina Collins
