WWJH celebrated AVID Day on Friday, September 12 joining schools nationwide in recognizing the power of education, the dedication of our teachers and the resilience of our students . Through our partnership with AVID, we’ve seen incredible results with more students enrolling in honors and AP courses. AVID equips students with the skills of critical thinking, collaboration and goal setting that prepare them for success in college, careers , and beyond.
In Mrs. Wilkin’s class, 7th and 8th grade AVID students met with RHS students to discuss how the program has impacted them and supported their current journey toward college and career readiness.
